Waxing & Spray Tan FAQ
Windham NH

Have questions before booking your wax or spray tan? Totally normal. Below are the most common questions we hear from clients visiting our Windham, NH waxing studio, along with expert answers to help you feel confident before your appointment

Clients visiting our Windham, NH waxing studio often ask these questions before their Brazilian waxing or spray tanning appointments.

Does Brazilian waxing hurt?

Let’s be honest — it’s not a spa nap. But with professional technique and high-quality wax, most clients are surprised at how quick and manageable it is. The first visit is usually the most intense, but once you keep up with regular Brazilian waxing, it gets faster, easier, and way less dramatic.

How long should hair be before a Brazilian wax?

Think grain of rice length: about ¼ inch. That’s the sweet spot where the wax can grab the hair and remove it cleanly. Too short and it’s slippery, too long and it’s a little extra spicy. If you’re unsure, just show up & we’ll guide you

How often should you get a Brazilian wax?

Most smooth-skin lovers come back every 4–6 weeks. Staying on a waxing schedule keeps regrowth softer, sparser, and way easier to remove. Consistency is the real glow-up.

What areas can be waxed?

Just about anywhere hair grows. From brows and facial waxing to underarms, legs, bikini, and Brazilian waxing, professional waxing removes hair quickly while leaving skin smooth and polished.

How long does a spray tan last?

A professional spray tan usually keeps you bronzed and glowing for 7–10 days. With the right prep and aftercare, your tan fades evenly so you look sun-kissed, not patchy.

When should I get a spray tan before an event or vacation?

For the best glow, schedule your spray tan 24 hours before a trip. For events, 48 hours before the big day. This gives the color time to fully develop and settle so you look perfectly bronzed...not freshly marinated.

Can I get waxed and spray tanned the same day?

Yes — but waxing always comes first. Waxing after a spray tan can remove color, which defeats the whole bronzed goddess plan. Smooth skin first, glow second.

Why choose professional waxing instead of shaving?

Shaving cuts hair at the surface, which means stubble shows up fast. Professional waxing removes hair from the root, so skin stays smoother longer and regrowth becomes softer over time.

What should I do before my Brazilian wax appointment?

A little prep goes a long way. Gently exfoliate the day before, skip lotions or oils on the day of your appointment, and make sure hair is about ¼ inch long (roughly the size of a grain of rice) so the wax can grip properly. Show up relaxed...we’ll handle the rest.
