Most people can expect their Brazilian wax results to last approximately 3 to 4 weeks, but everyone’s hair grows differently.
And if you’re brand new to waxing, there’s something important you should know: your first wax isn’t necessarily your best wax.
Why Am I Seeing Hair After My Brazilian Wax?
Hair grows in different stages.
If you have been shaving, not every hair will be at the same stage of growth when you come in for your first wax.
Some hairs may be underneath the skin and not ready to come out yet.
That is completely normal.
This is why we usually tell clients it can take around 3 consistent waxing appointments to start seeing their best results.
How Often Should You Get a Brazilian Wax?
For most clients, we recommend booking every 4 weeks.
Waiting too long between appointments can allow your hair growth cycles to become less synchronized.
Shaving between appointments can also set your waxing progress back.
If your goal is smoother, longer-lasting results, put the razor down and stay consistent.
Does Brazilian Waxing Make Hair Grow Back Thicker?
No.
Waxing removes hair from the root. It does not make your hair grow back thicker.
Many consistent waxing clients actually notice that their regrowth feels softer or less noticeable over time.
How Can I Make My Brazilian Wax Last Longer?
Your home care matters.
For better results:
Do not shave between appointments.
Exfoliate regularly once your skin is ready.
Keep your appointments consistent.
Avoid picking at ingrown hairs.
